Key Planning Essentials
Mandatory Registration: It is required to register all travelers on the official Uttarakhand Tourist Care portal.
Best Time to Visit: The temples open in May and close in October/November around Diwali. The safest periods are May–June and September–October (avoiding July–August due to monsoon/landslide risks).
Helicopter Option: Pilgrims with limited time or physical constraints can opt for helicopter charters out of Dehradun/Guptkashi for the Kedarnath segment.
